Mr. and Mrs. Teal

Handsome birds which I like to see.

They seem to get on very well with Mr.and Mrs Mallard and with several other species who share crowded little islands at Leighton Moss.

One wonders whether their ability to live in harmony stems from the fact that they don't have any elaborate ideas about why they are here and they don't try to impose ideas about how to live on their fellow creatures.

Perhaps in my next life I will come back as a duck.
