Derelict Sunday Shropshire Union Canal

Had a lovely couple of walks today. Firstly around Colemere, one of our beautiful lakes in Ellesmere. It was a bit swampy. Well actually it was a lot swampy! Luckily I had brought my wellies as in some places the mud was ankle deep. Loads of puddles too. Something really satisfying about splashing through puddles in wellies! Inner child and all that.
Then another trip along the Shropshire Union Canal where i took the above photo of the derelict warehouse and its gorgeous reflection.

DS12 is now up and running and will end Sunday midnight. This is my last stint as host at this time, next week it will be placed in the very capable hands of notowennewitt. Remember you can post your pics on any day of the week and as always I look forward to seeing them.

My 1000 mile challenge is moving along. I have so far done just over 10.5 miles in 4 days with some longer walks planned for tomorrow and Friday. I will keep you posted.
