Feeling happy.

Popped to the house tonight to a) take a meter reading, b) throw the two week old milk away and c) check the house was still standing after the weather the last week. We were very happy to find everything where it should be. A bit of water has got in where we knew there was a problem, but we thought it might have been a lot worse after the heavy rain.
We also found two Christmas cards waiting for us from people on the street. We haven't met them yet, but I think it's lovely how friendly everyone seems.
I can not wait to get work started so we can move in our lovely house.

P.s . I've just been notified this is my 100th blip which means we have had the keys to the house for 100 days! We really need to get a move on!!!
