Cartography

It's still raining and blowing a gale so today was a good day for experimenting with the macro lens and focus stacking. This image is a quick blend of 5 shots taken at different focus points in order to try and show the whole subject in focus. I picked something simple to begin with but I'd really like to be able to achieve good results with more complex subjects. I guess this is where the maxim 'practice makes perfect' comes in to play?
