Southern Lights
This is the view from Libby Hill looking towards Southside. Somewhere down there in the darkness is the James River, although the lights from the three main bridges tend to help it blend into the rest of the city. The water tower and smoke stack are on the old Lucky Strike factory (now apartments).
We were up there because I've made it a bit of tradition (much like many other Richmonders) to watch the fireworks from up there. You can see pyrotechnics from at least a half dozen shows including the two big local ones (Dogwood Dell and the Diamond).
