Photo challenge day one; Macro

So most macro shots I've seen online are of insects, eyes, plants or water droplets (sometimes even all at once). It's been done and overdone. So I've chosen this biscuit because I like them and it's what I had to hand.

I don't know how the quality will look once uploaded from my phone but it currently isn't bad. It's no L Series glass that's for sure but it cost 2 quid so it's better than I imagined.

You can get in so close with it that lighting actually becomes an issue. I'm pretty surprised with the results, I might do an iPhone macro week sometime. Looking forward to tomorrow's instalment, were either going telephoto, wide or fish eye. Yet to be decided.
