Ghostly Marchers

By way of the miracle of the DVR, I watched the Public Broadcasting of, "A Capitol 4th" past midnight, hence my blip for today.

This was a catch of the switch between cameras on the background of the Capitol, Washington Monument and Lincoln Memorial with the fireworks in the air to the marching of the US Army Band. Notice how the Band members seem to be fading in like ghosts over the Potomac River.

It looked like a sweet shot to me. Kind of a nice way to end the celebration of our nation's Independence!
