Its been a while since I've done a local landscape.  
 This shed is pretty much all that remains of the sale yards which are a little further out from where we live, very iconic. It was a regular meeting place for farmers, stock agents and others to meet, talk farm prices (or the lack of them), the weather, and all sorts of other important rural issues. 
Sadly, with the times changing they have not been used since 2008, the yards dismantled.......

....... a memorial was erected, made from local limestone, it reads....

Site of the Holme Station Sale yards
Which for 100 years were a integral
part of the local community

This stone commemorates those that
pioneered the Salesyards Company
& their successors who supported 
it for all those years.
