A morning 'home alone' so that meant housework. Three hours of non-stop exercise  -  possibly better for me than going to the gym. 

After an early lunch I went up to the front bedroom to have a look at the roofers working on the house around the corner. Then a moment of horror as I noticed a large water stain on the ceiling. It's the first in that room and another sign that we must get the builders in. And the decorators perhaps - though up to now I've done all the painting. 

A walk with a camera usually takes my mind off other things but not today. The bottle of wine (only partly drunk) didn't help either. 

Beside the lake  Borrans Park was being cleared of all the flood debris. The photo was taken from inside the stone shelter. It was lovely to see some sunshine.
