Wet wet wet

Sorry for another Poppy blip.  We have had another of our weather events and are not out of the woods yet.  This morning I heard officially we had had 238 mm of rain in the last 24 hours and it has been raining constantly all day.   I live on a hill so I don't need the ark just yet but there is widespread flooding.  I am expecting the power to go.  Maybe the winds will be kind.  Maybe not.  Poor Poppy is being dragged outside on the hour for training and both she Hamish and I are thoroughly soaked.  The house is like a Chinese laundry with wet towels everywhere.  Maybe I will do another wash before the power goes.  Anyhoo, if you don't hear from me, you will know what is up.
