Beach...........

.........Visit

Today’s weather was perfect as was our whole day.

....It was still 24C when we left the car park at 4pm to walk to Porters Beach along the Abel Tasman National Park track, NZ for a swim and a picnic tea.
....The incoming tide crept over the sun baked sand which meant the water was like a warm bath – much to the children’s delight. And because this area is very tidal, it was like a huge shallow swimming pool.
The adults were cooled by enthusiastic splashing accompanied by much laughter.
....The picnic was followed by another swim, shell collecting and a slow wander home and a later than usual bedtime for two very happy children. They will sleep well tonight.
....This photo is of mother and son - my daughter and grandson.

Thank you everyone  for your comments, stars and hearts for yesterday’s Tiny Tuesday challenge photo of a very hungry baby.
We had to do a rescue operation today when I discovered wasps decimating the Monarch Butterfly caterpillar population. The butterfly castle is in use again.

I apologise, once again for my lack of commenting on your journals. I will be in catch-up mode again soon.
