carpe diem

I went to the Library of Birmingham for two reasons

to see an exhibition (which I didn't really like)

and to get this shot because the old library will probably be fully demolished before I get back (the extra is the other side)

today was good for bargains in the January sales and lunch with a great friend (thanks Dr C)

then I went to the local with G - it had been closed for a few days - we found out why.....
Theresa the landlady died on New Year's Eve from an aneurysm - she was 52
