Using Your Loaf

What a quiet day at work today, my second one of the new semester. I'm starting to settle into having an office of my own but still a little daunting. It's kinda like starting a Ph.D. again, albeit without a supervisor. 

I got a paper planned, wrote a course outline and did other stuff on top so decided to leave at a reasonable hour and sat doing some of my own stuff on the train.

Broth and bread was on the menu for dinner but none of it was made. I spent the next hour rapidly getting the bread proved, chopping carrots and turnip and generally trying to have the house in order for the other half getting home!

I'm getting my passion for cooking back as it's nice not just having to do it for myself.
