Routine Maintenance

At the track, preparing for practice, just checking things over. No panic here, but just wait until running repairs have to be made during the race, all hands to the pump then!
The cars are all exactly the same, no special tuning of engines is allowed, so it all depends on the drivers and the pit crew.
The body of the car is made of fibreglass in two parts, it splits in the middle and each half or 'clamshell' swings open to allow easy access to the mechanicals.
The Team is 'Jolly Roger Racing' and its emblem the skull and cross bones!
This race is over 24 hours and the team comprises 4 drivers.
