Pont Neuf

The oldest standing bridge across the river Seine in Paris, the "New Bridge" was built in 1607 by the "good King" Henri IV and was the first bridge built without houses on it, so as not to impede the view of the  Louvre.

It is beautifully lit, and behind can be seen the dome of the Invalides and the Eiffel Tower.
