Great egret

Texas , Calaveras Lake. this same spot had 3 ospreys floating around looking for lunch and innumerable coots. the latter seem to be really common down here at this time of year.It was tough to decide which to post as the bell's vireo was good and the ladder back woodpecker was not bad.
