Lyme Regis #2
Supertastic day today. Really foggy this morning. Something a bit eery about it.
Headed off to charmouth for fossil hunting. Poor L got knocked over by a wave almost immediately and soaked herself to her armpits. Without a change of clothes, she spent the rest of the day wrapped in a coat and having a piggyback on me.
Just as L was getting too cold and M had had enough, I began to walk them back to the car where we found the best ammonite of the trip. Small but great condition.
Back to Lyme Regis to find L something to wear (pirate t-shirt) and then for some dinner in the Cobb. The sun finally broke through the fog. An evening on the beach before we made the journey back.
L straight in bed but we stayed up with the other 2 to watch '24 hours in A&E'.
Took an interesting shot at charmouth where the green of the hills on the left met the blues & greys of the cliffs and sea on the right. As if you could draw a line down the middle. Didn't come as as vibrant on my iPhone sadly.
This blip is of us eating ice cream in Lyme Regis in the evening.
