Day 6: Presents from home

I haven't lived in a 'cold winter country' since the winter of 2009. As a result, moving to Norway this Christmas meant that I have to stock up on some warm clothing again because most anything really warm that I still own is in Newfoundland. My Mom sent me and Reidar these beautiful hand knit socks (we call them vamps in Nfld) and mitts plus a few dishcloths as well because she knows I love these. I'm so grateful for a kind and loving mother who, no matter how old I get, still finds a way to care for me and keep me warm. Thanks Mom!
