Rougemont Castle

We took a trip into Exeter this morning, had a brief chat with our favourite travel agent and a mooch round the shops. I think the worst part of the day was while we were there so I just took a quick walk up towards Rougemont Castle in the pouring rain. 

I believe the castle is now in the hands of a developer who intends to make into 'The Covent Garden of the South West'. I imagine they mean shops and attractions and not wholesale fruit and veg. I'm showing my age there. I don't imagine many will remember the old Covent Garden market I used to walk around in my lunch hour.
