The Book Club Rose

I've blipped this rose before. Every book club evening, I don't take any photos before I go, thinking that I will be Out In Brighton, so there will be Interesting Things to photograph. But in the end I am always too busy chatting to take anyhting decent.

Anyway: book was My Brilliant Friend by Elana Ferrante. I really enjoyed it, most of us did, and we had a surprisingly animated discussion about the characters. I'll definitely read the rest of the books in the series.
