A Visit to Venice

There is so much to see in Venice and plenty of photo opportunities, but I thought I'd treat you to an unusual Venice shot. No gondolas in sight!

This is inside the Doge's Palace, which is just fantastic. I remeber the room with the old maps all over the walls particularly well. It's fascinating. There was a map of the heavens as well.

We saw lots of Gondolas, got ticked off for sitting in the Square, went into the jails, walked over the Bridge of Sighs, went on a water taxi and ate lovely things> We also payed 6Euro for a coke at one point!!
