Walhalla

Today we visited Walhalla, an old gold mining town at the beginning of the Alpine Way. Walked around the quaint little town, population 20. Took the steam train to Thomson, walked to Poverty bridge. Visited the cemetery (old by white Australian standards).

All in all we walked about 25 kms, climbed the equivalent of 80 flights of stairs according to my phone dashboard. We are absolutely knackered. I am now lying on the couch with a G & T.
