Cold

Still hanging on in a window box in spite of the frost last night.  Bitterly cold today - makes you realise how mild it's been.  Thoughts are with the latest victims of the floods in the Aberdeen area.  I heard one man on the radio this morning talking about trying to move things out of reach of the water coming in.  He said that even art work on the walls gets damaged as the plaster acts like a sponge.  Makes you realise that you really do lose most things and made me wonder if someone could set up an art bank and artists and photographers could donate and send a piece to a distribution point for people to choose from.  Just an idea ....
