Buttercrambe Floods

After a shopping trip to York the weather brightened and the sun put in an appearance. After yesterday's rain I decided to get out for a bike ride and see how the local area was coping.

A lot of the fields resemble lakes and I doubt if I have ever seen so many seagulls having a vacation from the coast.

Following Monday's detour decided to have a look at the road to Buttercrambe to see if the floods had cleared. Although it had receded the road was still impassable. These small villages never make the headlines.
