Goose Crossing

The Goose population in the Kansas City suburbs is very high. It's not at all unusual to have to stop your vehicle and wait while a whole long line of geese cross the road. These 3 were part of a relatively small gaggle which was grazing on the edge of a library parking lot; they decided to go walk-about.

There are actually several businesses in this area where you can hire dogs (and handlers) to herd geese and get them to relocate (to another locality where they are less of a nuisance). The herding dog would quite enjoy this job, though she is not reliable enough to be off-leash, which means that she is not actually suitable. Otherwise...
