Whittington Castle

Delivering with Mervin this morning .He had forty large Laurels to go into Liverpool.
After lunch I had a delivery to Chester and then on to Shropshire.A visit to the castle was only a few minutes diversion on my way home.Slightly south of my delivery.
The village is nice and this part of Shropshire is beautiful.I photographed the castle many years ago all lit up and hoped to do that again this evening only to be told that it is only lit up at Christmas now.Still I managed a couple of shots as the sun went down and we had a bit of nice light.

Some heavy showers but also some sunny spells.
