snow pillows...

...on a snow-filled tree

it fell all night

that big fluffy white stuff - which weighs practically nothing - but is very deceiving in its ability to cause trouble - it can be slippery - it can be packed making a decent snowball - it falls lightly making this - really pretty glistening picture - even in overcast conditions

case in point, these wonderful light as air - snow pillows having fallen onto tree branches - simply cascading over yet not being willing - to fall to the ground - just maintaining their shape - as if waiting for some invisible light weight insect or animal - to come and lay their head in slumber - wouldn't that be perfect in the quiet stillness of freshly fallen snow? - it sure would contribute to the makings of...
