2016 Thursday -- Traveling with Rainbows

Today we decided to return to Cayucos because there seemed to be a lull in the storm system the weather people have been promising. It rained most of yesterday and the prediction is that it will rain tomorrow, and tomorrow was the day we planned to come back to Cayucos.

This rainbow appeared as we passed through the community of Santa Maria on California's Central Coast. For a few moments we could see a second faint rainbow.

We arrived in Cayucos before the rain began to fall. We knew our construction guys would not be at the house because they had a one day job somewhere else doing the demolition of a kitchen. They will be back at our place tomorrow.
