Slow day on Braddon Street

We noticed this Black Backed Gull resting on the street outside work today. There was nothing wrong with it, it just liked sitting on the road.

Many of the surrounding businesses are closed for the Christmas/New Year period and the road is quieter than usual. Any traffic just took a wide berth. Taking over the road makes a change from nesting, feeding and raising their young on the roof.

In other excitement today, I ordered a fridge, and picked up a filter for the vacuum cleaner.

Yep, slow day......
