Beard Growing

Huge day at the sesquicentennial. This morning off on another bus trip to a different area. It was the area where my great grandfather came in the 1860,s. So much history being commentated on the way. This afternoon an old fashioned sports day and the judging of the beard growing competition. There was a great variety of colours etc.
one of the competitions was axe throwing.Throwing an axe at a large circle like a dart board. Seemed darned dangerous to me.
Tonight is a ball but no use going to that without a partner so have been visiting photography friends that are here on holiday and went for a walk on the beach.
