It's a Girl!

I was privileged to be invited to a 'gender reveal party' a new concept to me- a lovely expectant friend of mine was going to reveal to her husband (it was his birthday) in front of family and friends, the gender of their unborn baby. On arrival we had to pick whether we were Team 'girl' or 'boy' and play our names in respective hats. We dined, we danced and later, when her hubby cut into his fabulous birthday cake (decorated with 'Happy Birthday Daddy' the gender of the baby was revealed and names drawn from the winning team won prizes. Fabulous, unforgettable night.
