Day 9 - skills

Today I'm grateful for some handed down skills from both my Mom and her Mother - my Nanny Finlay. Nanny first taught me how to knit and crochet when I was probably about 9 or 10 yrs old, but without my mom's memory, I wouldn't know how to turn a heel on a sock. I love to knit and I'm so grateful for the wonderful teachers I've had.

The items in the picture I knit over the Christmas holidays. Next I plan to try to knit a few pillow covers!
