......at the end of the tunnel?

A pretty uninspiring day. Lots of meetings when I could have been out chasing the Flying Scotsman over on the Dark Side.

This is my best offering of the day. It's taken near the back door to the Civic Centre as I arrived for work.

The ventilation shaft , built in 1848, serves one of the two parallel Springwood railway tunnels. All trains entering the station on the Manchester and Sheffield lines pass through these tunnels.

Is there light in 2016?
