In 'N Out

Today my mum has started that post-Christmas task that humans seem to like to do - clearing out and getting organised (or so she says!). I've decided to relax with my 'friends' and just watch her be busy. Or maybe even fall asleep. It seems like boring work to me! Being here in my little bed also serves the purpose of me standing guard! She tells me I have too many 'friends' and I might like to think about passing on a few to others. WHAT?? I feel NO such need! They're my FRIENDS, for goodness sake! I need to keep a careful eye on my mum!

It was a mostly beautiful and warm day but of course by the time we went out for our walk the clouds were gathering. We hoped we wouldn't get rained on. The other three pictures are taken in our local park - all within about 15 minutes of each other, so you can see how quickly it changed. When the sun came out the long shadows were really amazing!! You can even see Mum's shadow as she's taking a picture!

Later on there was a beautiful sunset but we were busy with something else and didn't have time to go out again.

I'm sure glad Mum's home! Although she's trying to get some work done, it feels less busy than at Christmas so we're enjoying some cosy time too! Bliss!
