Redshanks

I read an article this morning about starting a 365 project.  The author gave her daily schedule as follows:
Take photo - 10 minutes, download and edit photo - 5 minutes, upload and tag photo - 2 minutes.  17 minutes and she's done.

Ha !!

My schedule usually goes something like this:
Take photo - 1 hour.  This does not include the time it takes to get to wherever I decide to go that day. Spend 50 minutes of that hour wandering around, camera in hand taking random photos waiting for inspiration to strike.
Download and edit photo - 30 minutes (longer if I have been taking bird shots ........... I take a lot of bird shots!). 25 minutes of that is dithering around trying to decide which photo to use.
Upload and tag photos - 1 hour 30 minutes - 27 minutes of that is re-booting my laptop after it hangs whilst trying to connect to the internet. The rest of the time is spent reading and commenting on other peoples journals.

I don't think the author of that article was taking this hobby at all seriously .......or maybe it's just me :-)) 

I liked the way the redshank was staring wistfully out to sea in the extra.
