The Bride

Not sure you ever see The Bride with swords in Kill Bill but having got a lego bride and several ninjas it was the obvious step. Excellent scene on YouTube.

Inexplicably up at 5am this morning, so a very early start at work meant I could slope off early.

Made something new for dinner, pork loin steak hammered out thin and then stuffed with haggis and black pudding. It was very tasty and despite it being summer the mashed potato and roasted root vegetable with it orked a treat in this cold damp weather.

Jen and I had a good long talk over the things that have been going on over the past 6 months and for the first time in ages we really properly connected and communicated. A great weight lifted off my shoulders as there was a worry for a while that we might not make it through till the end of the year and I would have seen that as a failure on both our parts.
