CJ's first pony ride

Today was very slow and relaxed - we were all a little tired after that fun and excitement of last night's party.

But by the afternoon we decided it was time to get out of the house for a little while, so we headed down to the Rolleston Christmas Market.

It was lovely - there were a few stalls selling crafts, fresh vegetables and hot food. I picked up another beautiful wine barrel candle holder and we had an excellent whitebait burger for tea.

But CJ had the best time - not only did he see a fire truck, where he was allowed to hold the hose and sit in the front seat. But he also went on his first pony ride.

He was very excited - there were smiles from the moment he got into the saddle and all the way around the circuit!
