Brunch

We met Auntie Kate for brunch in town at Bill's today - one of my oldest friends from uni days who I haven't seen for a while.

It was so nice to see her and catch up properly after a manic year for both of us. It was special to introduce R to her and although C was in a bit of a grump he coped ok with the promise of a park visit and train home with Daddy!

Kate is such a dear friend, it doesn't matter how long it is since we last met up, it always feels like just last week, lots of catching up brunch and tea was drunk and plans to be made!

An afternoon of games and keeping out of the rain storms followed by a roast dinner tonight.
