Making Dad's birthday cake

This afternoon we headed up to Hanmer for a weekend break.

S2 had to go to work in the morning, so while we waited for him to finish at work, the boys and I quickly made a belated surprise birthday cake for him.

We arrived in Hanmer too late to do any exploring, but I'm sure the boys will still be just as excited in the morning as they were tonight.
