Money down the drain...

Maybe 10 years ago I replaced the old tungsten bulbs with Halogen models and was promised immediate cost savings.  I can't remember the amount but my annual bill was reduced.  Then along came LED bulbs.  I've just replaced 38 halogen lamps with 38 4w LED's.  To keep the numbers simple that is a reduction in electricity and associated costs of around 75% pa.

No doubt the utility companies will have a cunning plan to extract the same amount of money from me.  I'll have to watch out for their latest tricks.

Maybe they'll just turn my meter up.  You think they can't do that?  Really???  Hmmm….
