Low Bridge, Knaresborough

The water level in the River Nidd is still high, but has receded somewhat. You can see a pile of debris up against the other side of the bridge at the right of the photo.
Mother Shipton Inn is a former 18th century riverside coaching inn, alongside the rear entrance to Mother Shipton's caves. The pub's interior is steeped in history, including a table once used by Guy Fawkes.
It used to be called the Dropping Well Inn.
