Paddling....

As I drove home from church for a quick bite to eat before heading back out again to spend time with my gorgeous grandson and his mummy and daddy, I caught sight of the light reflecting off the water where the trees were having a paddle. So, of course, I had to pull over, whisk my tripod out of the car and set up the camera for a few shots! It wasn't easy. I had to park a little way from the spot I wanted and it was a busy road with no footpath, just a very squelchy narrow strip of grass  over hung with trees and brambles. When I found a relatively clear view, I had a barbed wire fence and deep, water-filled ditch to somehow avoid getting in my photos.....
Needless to say, once home, the 'quick bite' was even quicker than anticipated!

Many thanks for the great comments, stars & hearts for yesterday's Fading Beauty blip - all very much appreciated!

I'm feeling encouraged that the pledges to help save Blip are rising, although we still have a way to go. More information posted today by Blipfuture, if you've not yet spotted it! If you've not yet pledged, now would be a good time to contribute, should you feel able to do so, as it's nearly decision-making day!
