New Kitchen

The Village Hall has a new kitchen, no small thanks to 2 members of the Committee and some great local tradesmen. I played by very small part today and did some cleaning and tidying before the hall reopens on Monday.   

We gave a bell ringing lesson to a potential new ringer and I am hopeful she will want to carry on.  It's one of those crafts that looks so easy when you're watching someone do it but grab a bell rope and it's not as straightforward as it looks.

A trip to John Lewis, we have vouchers from our Wedding to spend, to look at new TV. The place was heaving even at 5pm when we went!!  We saw what we thought we wanted but didn't really like it in the flesh so spotted another one but it was larger and we weren't sure it would fit in the small space we have so we came away with nothing!
