Grand

The end of the week and walking home I passed the foot of the mound.

Here there are centuries of Scottish and International talent housed in very grand buildings.

Outside of which are tourists milling through the rain and street atrists entertaining them with open hats and bagpipe cases awaiting donations.

The past and the dead are inside encased in grand sandstone.

The now and the living are outside drenched in the rain.

I love Edinburgh.
