Beer tasting

My godson has just turned 30 so to celebrate we turned up at a hostelry on Lothian Road for a beer tasting.

All great fun and the variety of beers, hops, and flavours was interesting. Not to mention the strength of the beers.

We eschewed, for our 6th (!), the dark 10% one. This - the iced tea one - brewed in Leith - was really enjoyable. It was made with earl grey tea and lemongrass amongst other ingredients.

After the morning service at young church which included some water from the river Jordan, it has been a day of liquids.

I won't mention the Polish tradition of vodka which followed!
