Contrasting views

Heading up the valley to the Morteratsch glacier, the sun danced in and out of the menacing clouds. We all enjoyed the softness of fresh snowfall under our feet. Looking back there was plenty of blue sky.
At the end of our walk we stopped for a hearty bowl of soup at the restaurant and the clouds had now gathered in the lower valley. It was our first walk in winter in this valley and no doubt not our last!
