Launch

The first day out flying in a very long time, towing at Mendlesham airfield.  Not quite a 2000' day in the high upper winds but very close.  Fortunately on the concrete north-south runway which made things a little less squelchy.

Ignoring the scary gusty-ness of the forecast and trusting in common sense (and previous days actuality) a few of us gave it a bash and were rewarded with actually a very pleasant day.  Probably just 25mph - 30mph higher up which made flying around the mast challenging but fun (it gets wider the lower you sink).  Got the spot at the end of the day as well which was pleasing.  Next time I really must collect £1s first - although I said that a few years ago as well I remember :-)

Feeling really good to be back in the saddle.
