Rain

A day which was noteworthy for nothing in particular although I did bake my first loaf of bread. Must be a mid-life thing. Mrs P bought me the book for Christmas and although it takes about 3 hours from mixing the ingredients to getting your first loaf from the oven, I can confirm that it went down pretty well. Nice crunchy crust.
