I popped in to see a friend this morning who was helping me out. I'd volunteered to make a crochet square to go in a blanket that's being auctioned off for charity and I didn't have any of the main colour. Thankfully my friend did so her little bit of yarn saved my day!

I've made a decision to stay away from social media for a while. I thought it didn't have an impact on my day but I have finally admitted that instead of getting on and doing jobs that need doing, I actually waste my time finding out what others have been doing with their wonderful fun filled lives and it's been making me feel inadequate. So I've gone cold turkey and deleted the apps off my phone. Maybe now I'll make more time to message my friends. I don't expect any miracles but hopefully it will make me feel better.
