Infrared Desert

Storms gathering to dust Four Peaks in another layer of snow.  I took a little detour to Four Peaks to further test the newly restored infrared camera and was greeted with this beautiful scene.  The infrared filter I used lets in a fair amount of "normal," visible light, so the image can be converted to reveal a less unusual looking landscape.  I like the way this one still has an other-worldly feel, without slapping the viewer in the face with it (so to speak).
